Support our Team.
I’m excited to share that I’ve joined Paddle for Life 2026 on October 3-4, 2026 — a meaningful event that raises critical funds for cancer patients and families across Maui County. 2026 is my third time in the Au’Au Channel, paddling between two Hawai’ian islands, Maui (Lahaina) and Lana’i, 36 miles in total.
And it is very special for me. As a cancer survivor I know how crucial it is to get the help and community you need in times of uncertainty, pain and weakness.
Please help to provide free, compassionate services to cancer patients and families across Maui County with your donation and support Our Journey. Pacific Cancer Foundation (PCF) is paying for treatments where patients don’t have the means (anymore) and provides services where families and caregivers are exhausted. I believe every person facing cancer deserves support close to home and your donation directly helps those in need. PCF has a small and fabulous team that navigates your money to the right people.
I’m paddling with the team of the Pink Paddlers, Mana’Olana, a group of cancer survivors, current patients, supporters and caregivers. Mana’Olana is a non-profit on Maui; cancer survivors, caregivers and supporters are paddling together, and the community helps us to heal, physically and mentally. We all support each other on our healing journey.
We have a team goal, and although I reached my personal fundraising goal already, your donation helps us as a team to reach our goal.
Every donation helps provide free programs through Pacific Cancer Foundation — including transportation, caregiver support, nutritional counseling, and more. PCF team is small and fabulous and navigates your money to the people in need.
